Dalehead Foods
Initially Anvil advised on the merger of Roach Foods with Dalehead Foods to form Flagship Foods Limited. Anvil advised Flagship on raising finance for the transaction which was funded by private equity from HSBC Private Equity and senior debt from Royal Bank of Scotland.
Flagship Fresh Meats
Anvil advised Flagship on a number of reorganisations post the merger. This involved the disposal of one subsidiary (Roach Frozen Foods) and the acquisition of two subsidiaries (Wickett’s Bacon and Glanbia Fresh Meats (UK) Limited).
Tulip Limited
When Flagship's shareholders decided to exit, they hired Anvil Partners to advise them on the sale. Following discussions with a number of potential purchasers, Flagship was sold to Tulip Limited, a subsidiary of Danish Crown.
